ILP’s energy health check involves a short meeting and ‘walk around’ by one of our specialists, who will look at the existing building fabric and energy saving technologies. Following the energy health check we will discuss your next steps in saving energy and costs.
A typical energy health check will take no more than 2 hours.
Ivy Link Partnership offers the energy health check free of charge.
The advice that you receive will depend on what our specialists see in your building. It may range from carrying out a full and comprehensive energy audit, to taking up government funded training, to installing specific energy saving technologies. The advice will be bespoke and meaningful in helping your business to make significant energy and cost savings.
An energy audit is a bespoke and fully comprehensive report, undertaken by a qualified energy auditor. The audit details every area where energy can be saved within your existing building fabric and provides a list of key findings, with a description of works and associated costs.
Most importantly, the report details the savings that these works will make in terms of energy and CO2, and lists the cost savings that each improvement will make on your existing energy bills. The audit even details how long it would take to recoup the cost of the works carried out, purely from the money saved.
A typical energy audit will take a full day. The resulting report will generally be ready within 2 weeks of the audit taking place.
The audit will be carried out by one of ILP’s qualified energy auditors. A Senior Partner will also usually be on hand during the process.
The cost of the energy audit is dependent upon the size of your premises. We are able to negotiate special rates for multi sites. Please contact us to discuss the cost of your energy audit.
